Hole Description

A fairly simple opening hole. Watch out for the bunker with your drive and leave yourself a chip onto the elevated two tier green. Hole Sponsored By - Muirhall Energy

Pro's Tip

Sensible play on this hole is to hit just short of the bunker.

Pentland

Hole Description

The tee shot on the second can challenging for most with out of bounds down the right-hand side and large trees down the left. Keep it down the middle if you are to reach the green in 3. The green can be very challening in summer and slopes from right to left at the front and two tiers towards the back of the green. Hole Sponsored By - Hawes Garage

Pro's Tip

Keep the ball below the hole if the pin is located towards the front of the green leaving yourself an uphill putt.

Hole Description

No one is going to compain if you hit a solid tee shot to the middle of the fairway.

Avenue

Hole Description

A short par 4 with bunkers on either side of the fairway. The green slopes from right to left and can be fast during the summer months.

Pro's Tip

Hitting the middle of the green is a wise choice if the pin is located on the left-hand side.

Pheasant Copse

Hole Description

An undulating hole which can make it difficult to see the pin unless your drive is near the top of the hill. The green has two tiers left to right and is one of the narrowest on the course.

Pro's Tip

Try to hit the correct tier for your shot into the green. Easier said than done!

Mons Hill

Hole Description

This tee probably gives the best view on the course. But thats where the fun ends. Out of bounds down the right-hand side of this hole and thick rough on the left. The green is surrounded by bunkers to the left and right with a large dropoff at the rear.

Pro's Tip

Put the out of bounds and rough to the back of your mind and hit a solid tee shot to the bottom of the hill where the fairway opens up for your shot into the green.

Roon The Bend

Hole Description

A tricky hole with a full width ditch across the fairway at the bottom of the hill and bunker for those longer hitters! The green is flat with raised surrounds which helps to gather the ball towards the hole. Hole Sponsored By - Dalmeny Cars

A tee shot to the right-hand side of the fairway away from the trees and ditch opens up the green for your second shot in.
